1. Our Pledge
At Soltrix Studios, we believe your anxiety and thoughts are private. NightCalm is built on a "Privacy-First" architecture. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not store your personal journal entries or emergency contacts on our servers.
2. Local Data (Stored on Device)
The following data is stored 100% locally on your phone. We cannot access or read it:
- Journals & Moods: Your "Dump Pad" entries and daily check-ins.
- Lifeline: The names and numbers you save for emergencies.
- Inbox & History: Your read notifications, changelogs, and achievement progress.
3. Third Parties
To make the app function, we use trusted services:
- RevenueCat: Used to manage subscriptions. They receive an anonymous App User ID to verify if you are Pro. They do not receive your name or address.
- Supabase: Used as a content database. When you play a story or receive an announcement, the app fetches data from Supabase. They may see your IP address (standard for internet traffic) but do not link it to your personal identity.
- Google Play: Handles the financial transaction. We never see your credit card.
4. Device Permissions
- Internet: Required to fetch sleep stories and check for updates.
- Vibration: Used for haptic breathing cues.
- Storage: Used to save downloaded tracks for offline listening.
5. Children’s Privacy
NightCalm does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since we do not require account creation, we do not hold personal data on any user age.
6. Your Rights
Since we do not store your personal data on our servers, there is no data for us to "delete" upon request. To delete your data, simply uninstall the application or use the "Erase Personal Data" button in Settings.
