Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Payrex Point of Sale software ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

"Payrex" is a product of Soltrix Studios. These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you (either an individual or an entity) and Soltrix Studios.

Soltrix Studios grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for your internal business operations, subject to these Terms.

This is a subscription-based license. Your right to use the Software is contingent upon the timely payment of applicable subscription fees. Soltrix Studios reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if fees are past due.

You agree not to, and will not permit others to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the source code of the Software.
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software.
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the Software to third parties without prior written consent.
• Use the Software for any illegal activity or to process illegal transactions.

Payrex is designed to work with specific hardware configurations (receipt printers, barcode scanners, payment terminals).

Soltrix Studios does not guarantee compatibility with all third-party hardware. It is your responsibility to ensure your hardware meets the system requirements mandated by the Software documentation.

As per our Privacy Policy, Payrex operates on a Local-First architecture.

• You own your data. Transaction logs and inventory databases stored on your local machine are your property.
• Data Backups: Unless you enable Cloud Sync, you are solely responsible for backing up your local data. Soltrix Studios is not liable for data loss due to hardware failure, theft, or user error.

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

SOLTRIX STUDIOS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE FROM SECURITY VULNERABILITIES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL SOLTRIX STUDIOS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Soltrix Studios is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
