Privacy Policy
We built Payrex on a "Local-First" architecture because we believe your business data belongs to you, not us.
1. Local-First Data Storage
Unlike traditional cloud-based POS systems, Payrex stores your transaction history, inventory database, and customer profiles locally on your hardware by default.
Soltrix Studios does not have access to your sales data unless you explicitly enable Cloud Sync or share a diagnostic log with our support team.
2. Cloud Synchronization
If you choose to use Payrex Cloud for multi-store synchronization:
- Your data is encrypted before leaving your device (End-to-End Encryption).
- We store encrypted blobs on our servers solely for the purpose of syncing between your devices.
- We cannot decrypt or read your specific sales figures or customer lists.
3. Payment Processing
Payrex integrates with third-party payment terminals (e.g., Stripe, Square, Adyen).
We do not store credit card numbers. All payment data is handled directly by the payment processor's secure hardware. Payrex only receives a confirmation token and the last 4 digits for receipt printing.
4. Telemetry & Analytics
To improve the software, we collect minimal, anonymous telemetry data, such as:
- App crash reports.
- Performance metrics (e.g., startup time, search latency).
- Feature usage counts (e.g., "how often is the 'Split Bill' feature used").
You can opt-out of telemetry in the Settings menu at any time.
